Interior or exterior, modern or vintage, the Kathryn Waltzer Interior Design aesthetic is consistently beautiful and enduring. Her talent for interpreting and creating virtually any style is a rare ability in the world of interior design, particularly when the concept of branding a single interior design aesthetic is still in high demand.

While trends in interior design evolve or disappear, timeless design never goes out of style and likewise, the Kathryn Waltzer "brand" of interior design is one that will remain a constant and one that will always be of interest to both the new clientele and the media. Waltzer has amassed a portfolio of striking interior and exterior design projects. Regardless of the style, her work conveys a sophisticated and stylish aesthetic with a fresh interpretation and signature touch of Waltzer's own.

Several of Waltzer’s projects feature green building products. Kathryn Waltzer Interior Design is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

"What's most gratifying about my work is when, after a job is completed, a client tells me how their new kitchen, master bedroom, or family room has changed how they use their home - literally how they live. I love hearing about the cocktail parties, the family get-togethers or just the quiet, reflective time spent in their new environments. Most of all, I really love it when they call to say that they are so happy with their home, they don't want to leave it."

Influenced by travel, art, music and fashion, Waltzer incorporates the essence of these subjects in each project, whether in metaphor or the form of custom furniture, or creating a color palette, a sensitive updating, a brand new home or commercial space. Equally, influencing a project is the architectural style and the client requirements.

"When I started Kathryn Waltzer Interior Design it was with the philosophy of individual design for individual, 'out of the box,' people. I am inspired by clients who are interested in pushing the envelope and working with visually exciting ideas. My clients range from bankers, authors, newspaper editors, engineers, graphic artists, film director, surgeons, lawyers, television executives and producers, actors, pro athletes, and a Northern California Winery, Anselmo Vineyards."

Waltzer graduated from the Interior and Environmental Design program at UCLA Extension. She is a Certified Interior Designer, and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She lives in a Case Study House.
